the engineer the artist

The Engineer The Artist

Ok. What is after graduation? I thought. The college world is so different than the job/work world. Even I have to work hard while studying, but there were new interesting things to learn every day. Things become quitter with routine at work.

Is it the end of doing interesting stuff? I cannot set with this idea in one place! So, I started to focus more on my art works and aiming to have my solo-exhibition. The solo-exhibition was opened on 16 Dec 09 till 12 Jan 2010 in Sharjah Art Museum.

My art works had different paths since my graduation, you can see mix media works, paintings with acrylic and a new experiment in cartoon animation.

A general observation is that the works on display are similar yet different at the same time. All the works involves the use of multiple materials, but they vary in size and presentation, as well as the subjects each of them address.

I see that, being an engineer and artist at the same time can give special results as an output of product and thoughts. Finally, why should I care for someone asking me: you are an engineer, why you are doing art?
